MVC for a component development!!!, friggin sweet!!
One of the biggest compliants I had with component development, is that, a lot functionality is automatically inherited when you extended of pre existing components. With an architecure like this, you only bring in the stuff that you want your component to do, and you have seperation of functionaility and view so you can simply add them to other components.
I almost want to say, screw backwards compatibility, i'd rather just rewrite my stuff using this.
